The sky is the limit for Girls Academy graduates
Former Coodanup Girls Academy student, Amy DeJong, is set to soar as she studies her Certificate III in Aviation (Cabin Crew) at South Metro TAFEs Jandakot campus.
Amy has had her eyes on the sky for as long as she can remember, attracted to the combination of travel and working with people.
Amy attends TAFE two days a week while also working part-time. While at TAFE Amy works on a fully-equipped Boeing 737 where she is learning about evacuations, providing cabin service, and cabin security training.
As well as completing her Western Australian Certificate of Education, Amy has also completed her Certificate II in Hairdressing and her Certificate II in Hospitality.
When Amy finishes her course she wants to work on Qantas domestic services where she can put her hospitality skills to the test as she takes to the skies.
