Balga Girls Academy star in Bankwest Easy Grants commercial!

The Balga Girls Academy was recently awarded $1000 as part of Bankwest’s Easy Grants program. Easy Grants are a fantastic initiative to assist not-for-profits and community groups in delivering their programs and services.

The Girls Academy intends to use the grant money to fund confidence-building and resilience workshops for the students.

Balga Girls Academy Program Manager Danika Eades said the grant would make a big difference to the girls.

“Our program is comprehensive; we not only focus on academic performance and planning for life after school, but also on health, wellbeing, and community leadership”. 

 “Confidence and resilience is so vital to these girls. When they believe in themselves, they can achieve anything,” she said.
