Centralian Students Welcome Prime Minister

On Wednesday 8th August, Centralian Girls Academy students had the honour of meeting Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP.
The Girls Academy was invited by Senator the Hon Nigel Scullion and Alice Springs Town Councillor Jacinta Nampijinpa Price to attend the Welcome reception for the Prime Minister at the Alice Springs Town Council Function Centre.
Girls Academy students Janaya Kopp (Year 10) and Timika Pon (Year 11) were selected to represent the Girls Academy and had the opportunity to speak to the Prime Minister about the Girls Academy and the importance of the program.
The Girls Academy thanks the Federal Government for their ongoing support of the Girls Academy program.
