Clough Foundation Partnership
The Girls Academy is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Clough Foundation to support the program throughout Australia.
The new partnership aligns strongly with Clough Foundation’s six-pillar strategy to deliver sustainable benefits to the community and fills a vital gap in the Foundation’s existing strategy.
Clough Foundation Chairman, Paul Kelly said, “The Foundation Board selected RMLA as a partner due to the significant and tangible success their programs have had with Aboriginal girls across Australia. We saw an opportunity to ensure the Foundation provides the same opportunities to Aboriginal Girls, as it does for Aboriginal boys, through our other partnerships.”
As the future mothers and leaders of the Indigenous community, strong and educated young women are critical to closing the unacceptable gap that exists between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians. RMLA Academy girls have the potential to be powerful catalysts for change in their communities, and we believe that education is the key to bringing about this change.
The Girls Academy are excited to be working with the Clough Foundation in Closing the Gap.
