Dubbo South Healing Day

The Dubbo South Girls Academy participated in Healing Day 2017, conducted by Uniting Care Burnside.
Healing Day is all about cultural healing, and gave our Academy girls the opportunity to learn about Indigenous healing by participating in a wide range of enriching activities.
These included a Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony, healing sessions,cooking demonstrations, traditional dance, a basket weaving circle and a number of arts & craft activities.
