International Womens Day 2017
On Wednesday 8th March the Girls Academy celebrated International Women’s Day in communities throughout WA, NT and NSW.
We had a fantastic turnout at our events, which included luncheon’s, morning tea’s, sporting games, group fitness and more. We were joined by a large number of local Elders, family and friends, school staff and community members who shared their stories and Celebrated this important day with us.
Well done to all of our Academy girls who put in so much effort in decorating their Academy rooms, baking and preparing food for their guests and speaking at the events.
Many thanks to all of the wonderful role models, supporters and guest speakers who attended and offered their support to the Girls Academy. We look forward to celebrating with you all again next year.
