Girls Academy unites generations for women’s day (The Kalgoorlie Miner)

There was a great story about the Kalgoorlie Girls Academy’s International Women’s Day celebrations on page 4 of the Kalgoorlie Miner recently.

Kalgoorlie Girls Academy development officer Tammy O’Brien said International Women’s Day was important to the students because it encouraged young women to reach their goals.

“They can make a change within their family circles by striving to be a success and follow their dreams,” she said.
“I am thankful that I can be a mentor here to see them pursue and accomplish their goals and be all they strive to be.”
