Mining sector for Girls Academy alumna

Nici-Rose Martin is a former Kalgoorlie Girls Academy student who was fortunate enough to be involved in AngloGold Ashanti’s school engagement program.

AngloGold Ashanti are focused on youth engagement in the Goldfields region. As a supporter of the Kalgoorlie Girls Academy program they have provided students with regular mine site visits, exposing them to the career opportunities available within the mining industry.

This year Nici commenced employment with AngloGold Ashanti, working as a trainee in the Business Services Support Department of their Tropicana Gold Mine.
